Born and raised near the eastern end of the Mogollon Rim in Deming, New Mexico, the Donaldsons have been blessed to live in Prescott since 1979 and enjoy a much better reason for remembering Sept. 11, as they were happily married on that day in 1971.

Williams and Beryl Remp of Prescott were married Aug. 27, 1951, at St. John’s Newfoundland, Canada. The Remps are celebrating a rare occurrence – their 70th wedding anniversary.

Manuel and Patricia Arras of Prescott Valley are celebrating their 55th wedding anniversary. They met at a special event in 1964 in Montebello, California.

Raul and Patricia Brown celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on Aug. 4, 2021. They met in Warsaw, Poland, in 1960 at a Marine party.

Jerry W. Jackson and Patricia D. Shilcutt tied the marital know 60 years ago – on Aug. 26, 1961 – at the First United Methodist Church in downtown Lubbock, Texas.

Craig Wright and Carol Fagan Dombey of Prescott were married Aug. 7, 1971, in Phoenix.

Gene Moore and Linda Bauslaugh were married on Aug. 21, 1971, at Redeemer Baptist Church, in Warren, Michigan.

Dick and Pat Unkenholz of Prescott were married Aug. 3, 1951, in Velva, North Dakota. Dick and Pat say, most days, it feels like yesterday they were walking down the aisle.

Kenneth and Gail McElfresh of Prescott were married July 8, 1961, at Moses Lake, Washington.

Ed and Gerry Tumey of Prescott were married July 25, 1951, in Kingman, Arizona.

Dennis and Susan Kuder of Paulden are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary.

Oscar and Michele Andrade of Prescott are celebrating their 70th wedding anniversary. They were married July 17, 1951, in Phoenix, Arizona.

Louis Dominic and Anita Rae Riley DeMello of Chino Valley are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary. They met on a blind date in 1969, arranged by Louis’ close friend, the late Paul Brue.

While having fun year-round, this is an especially important year for Donald and Connie Sieh as they celebrate 60 years of marriage as of July 3.

David and Donna Orman were married June 24, 1961.

In 1951, they snuck off from Hollywood, California, to Yuma, Arizona, to get married at ages 17 and 16.

John and Maryann Carter were married at Emmanuel Faith Community Church in Escondido, California, on July 4, 1971.

Edward and Patricia Pullan were married 65 years ago on June 30, 1956, in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Darnell “Goldie” and Carol Goldsmith were married on June 17, 1961, in Christ the King Lutheran Church in Torrance, California.
