Anniversary: John And Mary Peters Celebrate 50 Years

John and Mary met on a blind date at Mary’s sister’s home in Whittier, California, when John was invited to dinner. They spent the next several years in Whittier and San Diego, California, until being transferred to Grand Rapids, Michigan, in 1979. They were then transferred between Detroit and Grand Rapids prior to John’s retirement from General Motors Corporation. Their son William currently lives in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. Mary is an original California girl from Torrance, while John is a native of Tucson. John and Mary Peters moved to Prescott in January 2000. (Courtesy)
